As the demand for recognized voice actors continues to climb in the video game industry, Sierra Entertainment's announcement today of contracts with three Hollywood actors for the sci-fi adventure, Prototype is good news for fans.

Barry Pepper of Flags of Our Fathers will assume the role of the transforming Alex Mercer, while Gordon Clapp (NYPD Blue and Paul Guilfoyle CSI: Crime Scene Investigation will take on supporting roles.

Radical Entertainment is hard at work readying Prototype for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC for a 2008 release.
