The THQ versus Jakks battle continued today, with THQ claiming triumph with the denial of a Jakks petition in a Californai Court of Appeals.

The WWE has attempted to sue the messy THQ-Jakks joint venture on multiple occasions, and THQ has launched its own royalty dispute against the toy manufacturer that recently lost its WWE toy license to Mattel.

However, the WWE has confirmed that the game license managed by Jakks is tied up for several years, which means that while Jakks may start focusing on TNA Wrestling for its action figure line, games will continue under the Jakks name.
