US publisher Hudson Soft releases Bomberman Blast for Nintendo Wii

Retro classic Bomberman has returned to the gaming world today after US publisher Hudson Soft launched a new edition of the game on WiiWare.

Bomerman Blast promises to retain the classic features of past titles in the series, including the numerous arenas.

The title also offers Mii support and features an eight-player online mode.

"The Bomberman franchise is one of Hudson Entertainment's most
popular," said Sabine Duvall, vice president at Hudson Entertainment.

"We're driven by the support of the fans and strive to provide unique new gameplay features with each new Bomberman title to please the longtime fans, as well as make the game accessible to newcomers."
