EA and Activision to dominate autumn releases

Electronic Arts and Activision to account for 75% of autumn next-gen releases

Electronic Arts and Activision-Blizzard will account for 75% of all releases on Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii this autumn.

The games industry giants have increased their output in an attempt to become the market leaders.

Analyst firm Screen Digest revealed EA has 21 titles slated in for release this autumn, with Activision-Blizzard just behind with 19 games planned.

The two global publishing stalwarts will also account for 40% of all releases during the Christmas period.
